A temple visited by Indiana Jones

This was the first project to be added to Disneyland Paris after it opened to the public in April 1992. Under the art direction of Ron Esposito, this project was completed during the summer of 1993. The rockwork was carved in concrete, once treated with a protective undercoat they were painted with a neutral sandstone base-colour. We used a combination of 3 or 4 colours to give the stones an aged look, finishing with a mossy green in some areas to give the stones an additional weathered look.
